Flex 2.0 Chart creation via as

Anyone have any examples for creating charts on the fly in Flex 2.0?
I've been trying to get the process down pat so that I can interchange the chart based on selection, but the docs have no examples, there's a multitude of classes and right now, its just mumbo jumbo to me.

Anything would help - I want to be able to define the chart via as as opposed to locking in a chart type.
