FITC Call out
Alrighty kids, FITC is in around 2 weeks. I can't wait to *finally* meet some of the people I've played Halo with (Guy, Cantrell, Mesh, Dizznog Schall), and other people I've had the pleasure meeting in various ways- email, blogs, conferences, etc. Who's gonna be there? More importantly, who's going to be buying me beer?

I'm so rusty at halo. I might actually take it upon myself to start playing in prep. I have my eye on a 360 and Elder Scrolls. Looks wicked.

I'll be at the October FITC. Hmm frags sound fun, maybe I should put down my Staff Of Owl-Rod (fake staff from WoW) and pick up a gun (CS:Source) again.

Well, what's a good local brew, and place to enjoy it in...? ;-)
Should be a varied bunch of staffers from SF there... travel funding is higher this year. Do you know of any local events during that time which include people who can't attend the conference, a user group meeting or such?

Been a while since any Halo games (WoodyChicago), but I think we've still got a frag bond, no? Looks like the beer is covered, but you can catch me at the gyros stand next to the hotel for lunch. The past two years I've eaten there pretty much every day. mmmmmm. Greek fries (Darron? Agreed?)

How do you guys find the time? Really? Well, I guess someone's gotta be the one who gets his assed kicked at Halo when Hoss isn't around so I'll keep not fraggin' a little while longer :)

Should be a pretty decent ATL contingent heading up there... myself and a couple other folk from IQ. It'll be my first time in Canada! May have to side with Keith and stick to the beer, last time I played any FPS regularly was Quake 1 and the original Unreal Tournament :0/

Oh, the last time I played Halo 2 was on 11/10/2005 ( http://www.bungie.net/stats/playergamelist.aspx?player=dizznog&page=1 ) so hopefully I'm not too rusty.
Notice that the last game I played I won 50 to 1 with me against 2. Of course, it was against Aral, so that probably doesn't count.... (oh, snap!)
