AS3 Cookbook

Thanks O'Reilly, for the several copies of the AS3 Cookbook I got today - written by Darron Schall, Joey Lott, and Keith Peters. It's nice to see the book out and about - and to see all the hard work finally realized. The connection for me, is that I helped out on the book by tech editing, something I love to do.

Yay!! I can't wait to crack it open!

Is the example code available yet? Last time I checked the O'Reilly site it was not there.

I'm enjoying the book, but would like to run the code also. It would make the book much more useful.

Hi Bruce,

The book's editor is currently in the process of compiling all of the examples and getting them up on the download site. I apologize for any inconvenience this oversight has caused, you're not the first to ask for the downloadable examples, and I hope that they're made available soon.

Stacey, thanks. Hope you enjoy the book - even though you've already read most of it!

Bruce, alas, the code samples were a bit of an oversight, and are being gathered together now. The fact that the book got into customers' hands before anyone thought about that... I'll stop there before I say something I regret.
